Teacher User Agreement

Welcome to findateacher.Net's user agreement. This agreement describes the terms and conditions applicable to your use of our services at findateacher.Net (http://findateacher.Net) and our general principles. We may amend this Agreement at any time by posting the amended terms on our site.

1. Membership Eligibility
Our services are available only to individuals who legally reside IN JAPAN.

2. findateacher.Net is Only a Venue
Our site acts merely as a venue for prospective language teachers to post their information and possibly be contacted directly by prospective students. Our services are for this introduction ONLY, with no other guarantees or obligations stated or implied.

3. Teacher Obligations
You are obligated to treat students and prospective students in a respectful manner, be on time for meetings with students, and act in accordance with any agreement(s) (explicit or implied) you make with the student.

4. Your Record
In your on-line record, you must describe yourself accurately. Your record may only include text descriptions, graphics, pictures and other content relevant to yourself and your teaching. Any record found to contain deliberate falsehoods will be removed and the contact information of that record will be stored in our database in a manner such that none of that contact information can be used again.

5. Trademarks/Servicemarks/Copyright
The materials used and displayed by FindaNet, Inc. and its sites, including but not limited to text, software, photographs, graphics, illustrations and artwork, video, music and sound, and names, logos, trademarks and service marks, are the property of FindaNet, Inc. or its affiliates or licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. Any such content may be displayed solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to modify, reproduce, retransmit, distribute, disseminate, sell, publish, broadcast or circulate any such material without the written permission of Findanet, Inc. or the appropriate affiliate.

6. Use at Your Own Risk
Your use of the Service of Findanet, Inc. is at your own risk. NEITHER Findanet, Inc., NOR ANY OF ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES OR LICENSORS SHALL BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANYONE ELSE FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY OR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE OR SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS OR USE OF, OR YOUR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE AND THE SITES AND THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE SERVICE AND THE SITES OR ARISING OUT OF ANY ACTION TAKEN IN RESPONSE TO OR AS A RESULT OF ANY INFORMATION AVAILABLE ON THE SERVICE AND THE SITES. YOU HEREBY WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS AGAINST FINDANT, Inc., AND ITS SUBSIDIARIES, DIVISIONS, AFFILIATES, AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES AND LICENSORS ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE AND THE SITES AND THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE THEREON.

7. Your Info is Openly Available
Any communication or material you post or transmit to the FindaNet, Inc. or its Sites is, and will be treated as, non-confidential and non-proprietary. You assume full responsibility for anything you post or transmit, and you grant Findanet, Inc. and its affiliates the right to edit, copy, publish and distribute any information or content you post or transmit for any purpose.

8. Not Responsible for Linked Sites
Findanet, Inc. and its affiliates do not review or monitor any web sites linked to the FindaNet, sites and are not responsible for the content of any such linked web sites. Your linking to such web sites is at your own risk.

9. Password & Email Address
You should be aware that if you voluntarily disclose personal information (e.g., user name, email address) on a bulletin board, chat room or on any other user or member generated pages, that information can be collected and used by others and may result in unsolicited messages from other parties.


Content/Activity Prohibited. The following is a partial list of the kind of Content that is illegal or prohibited to post on or through the Findanet Services. Senseisagasu.com reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Senseisagasu.com's sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, removing the offending communication from the Senseisagasu Services and terminating the Membership of such violators. Prohibited Content includes, but is not limited to content that, in the sole discretion of Senseisagasu.com:

  1. is patently offensive and promotes racism, bigotry, hatred or physical harm of any kind against any group or individual;
  2. harasses or advocates harassment of another person;
  3. exploits people in a sexual or violent manner;
  4. contains nudity, violence, or offensive subject matter or contains a link to an adult website;
  5. solicits personal information from anyone under 18;
  6. promotes information that you know is false or misleading or promotes illegal activities or conduct that is abusive, threatening, obscene, defamatory or libelous;
  7. promotes an illegal or unauthorized copy of another person's copyrighted work, such as providing pirated computer programs or links to them, providing information to circumvent manufacture-installed copy-protect devices, or providing pirated music or links to pirated music files;
  8. involves the transmission of "junk mail," "chain letters," or unsolicited mass mailing, instant messaging, "spimming," or "spamming";
  9. furthers or promotes any criminal activity or enterprise or provides instructional information about illegal activities including, but not limited to making or buying illegal weapons, violating someone's privacy, or providing or creating computer viruses;
  10. includes a photograph of another person that you have posted without that person's consent; or

The following is a partial list of the kind of activity that is illegal or prohibited on the Senseisagasu Website and through your use of the Findanet Services. Senseisagasu.com reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate legal action against anyone who, in Senseisagasu.com's sole discretion, violates this provision, including without limitation, reporting you to law enforcement authorities. Prohibited activity includes, but is not limited to:

1. criminal or tortious activity, including child pornography, fraud, trafficking in obscene material, drug dealing, gambling, harassment, stalking, spamming, spimming, sending of viruses or other harmful files, copyright infringement, patent infringement, or theft of trade secrets;

2. attempting to impersonate another Member or person;

3. using any information obtained from the Findanet Services in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person:

4. using the Findanet Services in a manner inconsistent with any and all applicable laws and regulations.
